The fact that there are digital changes made to the original film is a problem no matter how insignificant they are.
Maybe, I’m not sure how I feel about that.
And I’d say the light is an SE level change, because it’s so incredibly pointless and very noticeable.
I doubt it’s noticeable since I’ve watched it at least 150 times on VHS, DVD, and blu-ray since I saw it 20 years ago and didn’t notice it. I also haven’t seen a complaint about it until now. Unless Spielberg added a CGI termite singing a pop song during Indy and Marion’s love seen, I wouldn’t call it an SE change. Also, (and I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about, so I’m probably wrong) the light could’ve easily been a mistake in the previous versions. You really don’t know. It’s just like how their are dozens of different audio mixes for the first Star Wars movie. There isn’t an original version.
