So for the most part, AVCHD can do a menu but you need menu authoring/designing software. I’m not where my big freaking PC is right now. But theres a lite version of professional software blue disk or something that allows for menu creation. But for the most part it is focused on BD not AVCHD. AVCHD isn’t worth making a menu anyways unless you are actually using a blu ray disk. And in that case just use the MKV versions of fan edits and unpack it using tsmuxer. Most free software is stupid buggy, then your low grade premium software is picky and buggy as well. Unless you want to pay big bucks for true professional menu authoring software just stick with free for now and experiment before committing a full disc.
