Oh crap, if the credits aren't used, does that mean that I am not in the credits?!

Why not have a 2nd ending credits with everyone who helped along the way and have it set to the imperial march song?

not a bad idea...have it in one of the sub menus....special features or some such.....

Personally I'd much rather have the film credits as unmodified as possible (obviously Ady's work needs to be recognized, so his and a few other's names need to be in there)......and it WAS already said that names in the credits wasn't going to be a thing for ROTJ:R, so I'd also prefer the credits for the entire trilogy to resemble eachother as much as possible.

It's a song?

What are the lyrics?

Ady your personal emails of thanks is all the gratitude I need.  Then again I'm sure you will find a way to make it all work. :)

It looks like i may have to alter the credits list for ESB:R. Looking at just how many names there are on  the list it's now become obvious that including all the names is going to be impossible to fit in with the length of the credits, even with the extended track. I did notice that there are a lot of names on that list that just came in the thread and disappeared. Plus, since the facebook page was set up, there have been a lot over there that have also contributed with ideas and help so it would be unfair to omit any of them. So i have no alternative but to shorted the list of names. I will therefore have to shorten the list significantly and now just include a general thank you to everyone.

Sorry, but this is unavoidable. This thing grew much bigger than i ever could have imagined

That's too bad but I figured something like that might happen as the project grew. My memory is fuzzy because it was years ago but at one point I think I recall someone asking those of us who were active in this thread and going to be in the credits if we wanted our real names or user names? I think I just said my username.

I really hope I'm still in there however I totally understand if not that's fine too.

Either way I'm still excited as ever about this project and am grateful to have been around on the ride with you guys. Can't wait for it and I can't thank AdY enough for his efforts.

BTW I've watched the latest clip about 100 times now, lol.

I contributed and the only thanks I need is watching the finished movie.

^ This is the best Idea if the thank you List happens...

People rarely sit through end credits these days anyhow... Although Star Wars is one of the films where majority of people would have sat until the technicolor logo arrived in the cinema... Most people make a dash for the doors now... How times have changed... How film has changed.

Imperial March is a good choice of music for sure

Probably the winner of best all time end credits to a movie that keeps you watching until the very end would have to go to "cannonball run" IMO they nailed it as an art form but I'm not suggesting this for ESB revisited

LOL!

In all seriousness though, I hope I am not forgotten as I did contribute  towards the project a few years ago.

Kidding of course.

I am not bothered what happens to the credits, a nice thank you to everyone is more than enough in my opinion. The biggest thank you will of course be knowing that our help has played a part in helping to make this wonderful enhancement/edit of a truly magnificent film!

Adywan. The best reward I could receive is getting to watch ESB:Revisited sooner or even that it would remove some stress from your life; feel free to cut my name.

When ESBR is finally out I'm going to probably do a double feature.

ANHR followed by ESBR.

The closest thing to a contribution I ever did was make mock up videos to share ideas. The only one I recall being used was the fix of the abrupt stop of the backward floating Millennium Falcon among the garbage. Though I'm still hoping Ady liked the lightsaber sparks idea, so that Vader's lightsaber hitting the floor would be consistent with the rest of the film. I also remember adding a saber-hitting-surface sound effect to go with it.

Unfortunately, I think just about all my mockups were removed from youtube!

But anyway, it doesn't necessarily bother me if names aren't added to the credits. I just want to see it released! Can't wait.

To be honest, back when the list was gathered I didn't really care to have my name on it but I was convinced to do so because my godson would have thought it was the coolestest thing EVAR!

Now he is too old, too busy blowing up zombies to be impressed by a familiar name on a good version of a great movie.

Fixed. :-D

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

^ No contest. These are the ultimate SE versions of the movies for me as well.

If a certain company with a mouse as their mascot was smart they'd hire AdY and pay him whatever he wanted for future re-releases.

It's such a shame that the 'pros' at ILM mostly just paid lip service when it came to fixing things. THREE friggin' passes were made on tweaking these movies and they still failed in so many areas.

I honestly prefer Adywan's work to the original theatrical releases. I guess perfection can still be made more perfect :)

I love Ady's work, minus a few minor, overlookable things, but I love Harmy's Despecialized edits just as much. I'd love it if someone with a talent for art and the technical know-how could do a DVD and/or blu-ray cover for a two-disc case showcasing both!

the ultimate "SE/GOUT" combo pack! I don't suppose anyone would be up to the challenge?

I'm no cover artist but here's a quick-n-dirty cut-n-paste of one concept...

It's a reversible cover for a 2 disc case - the kind with one spindle in each cover half.  If you want to display the other version, just flip the case over.

My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.
