I finally got the Annie Blu-Ray the other day after having put it off for the last few months, and the reports I’ve been hearing that there were missing sound effects definitely seem to be true, There are indeed a handful sounds missing throughout the film. the one I immediately noticed was when Annie beating up the dog bullies in the alley, the grunts of the last boy are missing as he is being punched by Annie.

I was wondering, how difficult would it be to drop in the missing bits of audio into the Blu-Ray’s DTS-HD Master track, using the Pan & Scan DVD’s 5.1 DTS track as a source? I don’t really have any experience with this.

It seems like this movie is probably never going to get a perfect release, but the Blu-Ray is definitely the best home video release there has been for this film, audio issues aside.
