Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.
If you cover the ears, it looks like Alan Arkin.

On topic now, how even the thought of the SEs wilted this gamer's joystick.

Yep. In that first picture, I'm the 197th person in line. If we had gotten there 5 minutes earlier, we would have been 3rd in line. Oh well.

Here's how the rumors get recycled:
My brother told me that the "ORIGINAL" Star Wars theatrical release was actually a 10-15 minutes longer than what is considered the original release. He said the studio sent out the shorter release after the first weekend. The studio wanted more screenings per day.
Otherwise, Good to see outside interest in the general conversation here. Hopefully the idea will get recycled for other locations.
It's the rumor that won't die!
Where were you in '77?
C'mon, that original 10-15 minutes of Luke throwing and missing with the grappling hook over & over again WAS pretty tedious...
A rumour that was probably fanned warmer when naughty Harmy made his fake blu-ray deleted scene.
There will be people who saw that and will some how mix that memory up with their childhood.
Oh joy!
He He Hee.
I was not alive in 1977! AND YET I AM IN THE PHOTOS.
Keep Circulating the Tapes.

And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.
I forgot one:
Wait...
Those first ones were from an online auction site; I've found stuff like this before - I hate to think of these things coming and going and hardly being seen. Some sites save previous auction photos, but I'm sure stuff like this just disappears sometimes.
Kastel's Vader with a mouth! Signed by Luke Skywalker!
(IIRC this sold for sixty thousand dollars or so).
Leia looks like a Frank Frazetta babe in that first concept. Apparently there is lingerie in space after all!
That Empire painting might be a good cover for Puggo's recent project...
Where were you in '77?
Where have you found these? Any ROTJ stuff? There's much less alternative ROTJ art out there even though they aren't as interesting.

^Lando looks like he's holding an orange lightsaber with a pretty long blade in that painting.
And it's bent.

Galatians 2: 20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
