Wait...what?...already?...WOW! Well done everyone who donated this time around.
The 'cloud' lighting looks great throughout, and the Bespin planet's 'lens flare' shot is majestic-looking. The re-colouration of various elements is marvellous overall, and the replacement background of the final Vader shot is inspired.
Another awesome preview clip as usual! :)

Things to look for:
-Clouds (or the City?) going past as Lando closes the top hatch.
-The all-new shot of the sun setting behind Bespin (which was shown to be the sun rising in the SE shots which are thankfully gone).
-The new Vader background complete with a shot of the outside of the Star Destroyer through the window behind him.

The City's undersection. And it's another terrific enhancement indeed. Really gives the impression of speed as the Falcon accelerates away from Luke's rescue.

Love the new clip never notice all those mistakes. Very nice. I think this has been said before, they need to have you at ILM or LF.
One day we will have properly restored versions of the Original Unaltered Trilogy (OUT); or 1977, 1980, 1983 Theatrical released versions (Like 4K77,4K80 and 4K83); including Prequels. So that future generations can enjoy these historic films that changed cinema forever.

I was hoping to donate as well... Very excited that donations were met that quickly, but hoping there might be another opportunity. Maybe we can start donating to get Ady a top of the line PC so ROTJ:R and ANH:R:HD can be 1080p :)

Although it would be nice to have 1080p, Ady has already said that all revisited movies will be 720p because of several reasons:
1. Its easier and faster to download BD-25 than BD-50.
2. The loss of quality from 1080p to 720p isn't that much so it's not worth it.
3. The file size are to big.
4. He is using GOUT elements that don't upconvert well to 1080p
And I'm sure there are more. I also think 1080p would've been cool but it's not that much of a difference really.

I know they won't be in 1080p, I was mostly joking (I am holding out for the PT to be in 1080p. Considering how fast technology is moving forward, I wouldn't be surprised if internet speeds and burnable media allowed for it by the time Ady finishes them.)
Muddy, nice personal sacrifice for the project! I will say though, simple donations are a nice option because I can easily send $20 your way, but it's hard to bid on an ebay lot :(
To my original point about purchasing a new Top-of-the-Line PC for Ady, I think that is a reasonable donation goal that could stay open for quite a while. We'd probably have the money raised by the time Ady is ready for RotJ:R, and considering the potential speed increases with the latest CPUs and GPUs, the project would go that much faster. He'd be able to implement his ideas in real-time, virtually unhindered by potential loading and rendering.

muddyknees2000, I've a rough idea about what Ming's been up to with his 2nd Unit shoot, but I must have missed the info. about what you're hoping to do for this. Can you elaborate a little or not?

Obviously, the further you zoom into a shot the lower the reolution becomes. Given that the maximum resolution that currently exists for any Star Wars film is 1080p I assumed the 720p was a way to maintain high definition and allow for some room to zoom too.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to answer my questions/responding to my speculations and thoughts. It's a lot easier than wading through over a thousand pages.
