Wow man, I really don't know what to say....

i just wish you and your family strength, and power. like my mother would tell me after my grandfather passed, "Grandpa would be proud." anyway I'm very sorry and please don't feel pressured. this is just fanediting, it does not surpass life. we all understand.

and shame to that person who emailed u previously. let them rot in hell eternally.

PS: I beleive this is in my sig but a song by +44 reads:

"A little Death makes Life more meaningful." --Mark Hoppus, +44

Now interpret that as u want, but just remember that.

Best wishes,

--JustDC

Dear Ady,

My sincerest condolences on your loss.  I think it speaks volumes about both you and the high regard in which people clearly hold you that so many genuinely heart-felt comments are being left for you on this forum.

Although I did not know your father, I am still moved by the news of his passing, and feel real sorrow for the loss on you and your family.  Life is unkind and unfair at times, but our friends and families and there for us when we need them.  Please remember that we are all your friends and we are here for you.

Sincerely,

Snaketibe

Ady, so sorry for your losses. I wish you and your family the strength to overcome the rough patch you're going through. If it helps, I've heard it said that death is always followed by new life.

Ady,

Sorry for your loss. I am always lost for words when any person passes and I can only realise how weak and fruitless it must be with any words of mine that could attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming.

I wish you all the best Ady to both you and your family, and hope you take that long needed break that has been so long overdue and desperately needed.

All the best.

Loss is such a terrible thing to go through. Just remember all the good times you had with your father. Remember that you were there. I am sure your Dad would be very proud of you.

If there is anything you need, we are all here. Take a long break and be with your family.

Sincerely,

S. C. Reams

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

I have to say that this thread in hindsight will be verrrry interesting, because it is so much more than the creation of a fan edit... it's practically several chapter's of a man's life.  This is NOT a complaint, because I absolutely support Adywan and everything he shares with us about his life.  It seriously is very interesting... the good, the bad, it's all here, entwined with the story of Revisited itself.

It's not just this thread, it's the whole site. Funny how the years have gone by.  We all are completely different people, with different opinions, but here we are one big community with a love for Star Wars. I've belonged to more forums than I care to count, but for some reason, I can't go a day without coming on here to see what is going on. Ady, and several others here have put more love into these films than I can imagine. What is a single frame to some of us, is hours and hours of hard work. Some call it obsession, I call it love.

It feels like yesterday that I stumbled on here and made my first post. I thought I was going to get pushed out, yet everybody for the most part wanted to share their knowledge. This place is very open. We don't drag the waters to find out what makes us different, instead we focus on what makes us the same.

Now grab some crackers, because that was cheesy.

Crackers aside, that was very well put.  I've been a member for a few years now, so even though I don't post much and not many here seem to know me, I've still seen and read a lot and I can totally get what you're saying.
