I use to hear C3PX as an ewok, and frankly I don't understand nothing that he says.

Yes, because as an illegal immigrant from one of Endor's moons, my English is quite broken.

It is quite funny how things turned out with you and I, there was a time it seemed like I was about the only person who seemed to be able to understand what the hell you were saying and we got on quite well.

What you quote has nothing to do with it (ah! I got the name: that's Wicket ! You sound like Wicket, Leia's friend).

For what you're refering to it seems you took all bad from me since I tried to make you understand your eternal rants or -whatever it is called- against Frink (and whoever !)- was pointless and spoiled the places more that the causes of your reactions.

But indeed, I noticed your effort to understand what I say (= the idea behind the words) since then has incredibly lowered... Convenient! And I'm glad you allow me this short occasion to say it. You took a lot of what I said notably in Skyjedi thread against you when I was just trying to clear things: you were like the energizer rabbit you addressed to me.

Now, if you really want to take things that serious again in a video game thread (and let's be honest: no matter the reason)... That's your life ! :)

I have actually never really had a problem with Fink himself, he uses his powers pretty responsibly, it is his loyal followers who annoy me. A little bit with Bingowings, though I still find him enjoyable enough most of the time, but most of all with you.

Actually, I understand what you are saying as well as ever, and frankly your pontifications rub me the wrong way. I might be more inclined to give a damn about what you have to say, if what you say wasn't always spoken from a soapbox.

You rant about how wrong and foolish I am in all of this, I agree I am far from perfect, and lately I have been in a state where I really don't mind getting into scuffles with you guys, I have lost all respect for you both already, so what else is there to lose? But it is really a shame you are not able to preach to yourself from that soapbox of yours. I would suggest you try some kind of set of positioned mirrors to remedy that problem, but it is not that our own sermons ever do us any good anyway.

All I ever did to start this mess was politely (if it did not come off as polite due to my use of an apparent Scottish (and perhaps French too?) vulgarism "spam", it should be worth some modicum of goodwill that I intended it to be polite and had no idea the use of that term would cause the great offense it did), and since then you guys have seen fit to treat me like shit, so I feel obliged to throw it right back at you. That may not be the most mature way to behave, but it works for me. If I get shit thrown at me, I will toss it back. I definitely don't possess that peace maker attitude guys like Gaff and 005 pull off so well, so on we will go I am afraid.

I know what I quoted didn't have anything to do with it. I was playing along with you like we used to, and saying that it is a shame things are the way they are between us now. I didn't intend to bring this into this thread. I was having fun posting with you, and just stopped for a second to mention my sorrow in the situation.

So, you have a problem with me ? No disrespect but I don't have problem with you, then it remain yours. I'm not living through that place.

You rant about...

I rant about nothing. I'm well. And I'm ok with you since I don't care anymore trying to point out how much all these virtual disputes are pointless, and how you spoil yourself sometimes writing a book about x person's behaviour in the Off Topic section of a SW forum... Whatever you're right or not, please notice.

Thanks Sluggo, you said it all. ;)

It is comments like this where you pretend to be perfect and make all problems out to be mine that make me have a problem with you. I didn't want any fight today, I just wanted to pointlessly talk about lame ass video games, and because I did something as small as ask two people to stop fighting, it became a big mess.

I even didn't noticed the fight (let's say I ignored it). I just steped in and followed brainlessly the flow of what I found to be funny pictures. And sorry to say, Bingo's post and video just matched exactly with my feeling of your position in this situation. It doesn't makes me judging you however: it just matched with my point of view. But my thoughts and abilities for acting are currently dedicated to things that matter to me most. That's between other reasons  why I can't have a problem with you. If that makes me pretending to be perfect to your hears, that only holds on your personal interpretation... I'm only a "perfect" stranger here, like us all.

Hello from Sluggo

Take it easy!

it's always good to be able put a face (and a voice) to a name!

loved your Pachebel's Canon montage (and how you "explained" Let It Be :) ); would Alphaville's "Forever Young" have fit in there, too, or was that a different chord progression?

Oh, it took me a while, but I noticed your 1138!  :D

well, what better occasion than this for me to plug my channel?

http://www.youtube.com/user/anothernicemess

it has no videos of me talking but I'll make one shortly, hopefully, if my mic assists me.

I've heard Gaffer Tape's voice but I still read his posts in the voice of Carrie Fisher?????
I knew there was one more that I read in the real voice. Thanks.

I always hear 005 with a mild southern (American) accent.
I did live in Tennessee for several years and can do a pretty mean impression. When I'm being nice to someone like a waitress or customer, I tend to slip into Southern, but I think my real accent in is very non-regional mid-western.

I was wondering if some of us were going to do something like this. I might post one later. This is an interesting discussion, maybe we can move this to its own thread... I'll make one.

Nope.  I disagree that the rise of furniture is ever increasing.  There was a recession in furniture rising in the late 70's and again a few years ago.  Sure, the furniture is rising at a pretty good rate right now, but it's not like you can't still sit on it.  And I suspect the rate of rising might decrease again soon.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see a slight sinking of furniture one of these days.

And I find your views on me and the way you present them insulting. At least you admit you only see things from a limited angle and have a tendency to ignore reality. You make slight jabs at me out of the blue all the time, and I usually just ignore them, so it is remarkable to hear you claim such a high level of innocence. I'd love to let everything go and leave it in the past, but every few weeks it seems to come up again.

But my thoughts and abilities for acting are currently dedicated to things that matter to me most.

Posting BS pictures and telling C3PX how very wrong he is? Wow, good priorities.

Sorry I seemed to confuse you Fink. By "powers" and "loyal followers", I mean your ability for humorous harmless derailments, and those who have decided to follow your lead and do the same (though to a far less controlled extent than yourself).

Supply and, demand was not the point I was gearing at. Simply elavation of each piece through the flow of time. The tables of old versus the current standard. Is the picture clearer now?

Personally, I am more interested in the chasm of the abyss and the little tiny pigs.

I wasn't talking about supply and demand either.  I was talking about the actual height of the furniture from yesterday to today.  For instance, a few days ago the top of my coffee table was x" from the floor.  Yesterday it was x+2mm.  Today it is x+3mm, which is a decrease in the rise of the furniture.

Ah yes, within the chasm is horses laden with packs of tricycles. As the tiny pigs swim in the waters like seahorses. All riding the current 'till nightfall. As fireflies light up the scene and, the pigs jump and, eat them. Some fly upon their backs though.

Also perhaps you would like to read an earlier contribution I made to this thread:

I can't sleep so, here goes some randomness.

Ever wonder what it would be like to eat the mushroom, down in the throat of a Cat, contained in a grapevine, within the eye of Dracodla(the vampire fish from Portal), covered in drizzling peanut butter, with Synsepalum dulcificum(miracle fruit) topping, overloaded with sprinkles, and banana ice cream?

And, yes this is again thoughts from lack of sleep three days awake.

...Your maths confuse me!!! Doesn't "+" mean addition!?!? shouldn't that mean rise!?!?

Yes...but we were talking about an increase in the rise of the furniture, not the height of the furniture.  Yesterday it rose 2mm, today it rose 1mm, so the amount of the rise has decreased.  The overall height increased, but the rate of increase has decreased.

this sounds like a rather unique coffee table that Frink has.  A coffee table that grows.  I don't inanimate objects like coffee tables usually grow. Frink, you may want to notify the scientific community about this.   I'm sure they'd like to study your coffee table.

And seriously, why don't they start building houses that are designed so you can haul a couch upstairs without having an blood vessel explode in your brain?

I think my coffee table will reach the upper floor if I wait long enough.
