I don't mind you posting either version - as long as you include a note somewhere in the file if you have made any slight sound changes: "LP Transfer by 7FN, Remastering by ABC" or something. Or you could call mine the 'pure' version. Whatever you feel like :)
I'm going to work on a v.2 of both Star Wars and Empire when I am well enough, and have already contacted a source about having all LPs professionally cleaned (twice each to be on the safe side!): http://www.keithmonks-rcm.co.uk/precision.html
I'll be doing the transfers on a fully restored Garrard 301 turntable: http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/garrard/301.html
Cartridge will be a Denon 103-R
Still until I get better this is a long ways off (end of the year in all likelyhood), but just wanted people to know there will be 'ultimate' LP editions out there before too long. However the existing versions are very good and I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out.
