Hey guys, I have now created a dedicated thread for my project. I have been working hard on the menu creations, once these are complete thats it!

Any chance of releasing the material that was aquired for this fan version of Ghostbusters before it was given up on.
NeilB seems to of gone AWOL and not replying to his thread Tobins Spirit Guide
If the original poster to this thread could upload his material onto a torrent site and let others make there own versions.

I had put this project on the back-burner when NeilB and co. expanded the project into the huge, nearly comprehensive Tobin's Spirit Guide. It appears I need to dust off the Photoshop PC and get cracking once again. Just the thing to keep me out of trouble this weekend!

ps. Met Ernie Hudson 2 weeks ago at a convention, really got me buzzing about this project again, even bought the 2 disc Criterion Edition of Ghostbusters on laserdisc, even though I've not got a laserdisc player, now that's devotion, lol.

Bdev has mentioned that he may do something with the Criterion Ghostbusters. As There was a project at one time here, could the materials be passed onto him? His Princess Bride and Fisher King Preservations are brilliant, so could Bdev complete this unfinished project? Any thoughts?

I have a lot of material. I had offered to the other users to collaborate on this project - but all declined. The reason I was looking for a collaboration was because I have a disc full and have just begun to expand to a disc two... but with only 5 minutes on disc two - it would be a waste of space unless there was more to add to the disc.

If anyone would like to collaborate then PM me or drop me an eMail.

this project had a huge amount of potential and I was really looking forward to it. It's a real shame that it seems to have just fizzled out

I assume everyone's already been here, but Spook Central has a bunch of stuff on it's site including the descriptions of all the deleted scenes. I know that most of the extras here are listed on there, but maybe there's something else you can put on the disc.

Hey guys, have been on a bit of a hiatus from the OT.com boards as of late but just checked back in and definitely sad to see that nothing was done with this. I did send a DVD of material form my collection to Neil- unfortunately it seemed that some of it leaked its way onto Youtube and that was about it... anyone heard anything otherwise?

Look. I really want something to happen with this. Flippin eck! Send me the material and I will put it all together! I'm no expert in menu making but I can use TMPGEnc DVD author and I'm not bad with photoshop. I believe that julinbaschir was almost finshed in his project, but he's vanished too!

On a related topic I have near-DVD-quality, (pretty good quality AVI encoded from DVD-ripped VOBs) music videos for "Ghostbusters" by Ray Parker Jr. and "On Our Own" by Bobby Brown (the latter is from the mov.2 OST), if anyone wants them. They do have identifying marks for Promo Only (but then, that's comparable to MTV back in the 80s before they started stationbugging).

There is a version of the Ghostbusters video where the celebrity voices can be heard in the mix saying "GHOSTBUSTERS!".
