I’m going to try and be nice about this.

First the idea of using a lawsuit to make money is fundamentally un-American and is damaging to the Justice System. This is why health insurance costs are so high in this country. If a doctor sews a scalpel inside you during a surgery that’s a pretty good reason to sue, but there’s no need to sue just because you don’t like his bedside manor. If we had a real legitimate legal beef against GL then you would probably get a great deal of support. George is a greedy bastard and he’s turned his back on those that made Star Wars a phenomenon in the first place. Those may be despicable traits, but they aren’t against the law.

You definitely shouldn’t plan on making any money off of such a venture; it’s far more likely that you’ll loose your shirt. Just ask all the companies that tried to make Mac clones back in the day. They took Apple to court and had a good case, but Apple had more money and used that money to continuously appeal. Apple could afford all those appeals, while “fly by night computers” could not. So despite a good case all of those prospective Mac Clone manufactures went bankrupt and the suits they brought died with them. Eventually Mac clones were made, but only when Apple decided to allow it. Of course those same clones were bought out and driven under the minute Jobs took over at Apple again, but I digress. If you go toe to toe with George you had better have Bill Gates or Walton kid’s type money or you can count on losing even if you have a good case and you don’t.
