Think about the logistics of this. The battle of Endor just happened three years ago. But somehow in that time a coffee magnate has traveled out to Endor, found their local variety of bean, negotiated with the local Ewoks to harvest them for him, ramped up production to a galactic scale and successfully marketed it? That’s ridiculously improbable and silly. The Star Wars galaxy is made up of billions of planets, referencing the same handful over and over shrinks the galaxy.

Same as it ever was, then.

Sadly. I really thought they were going to take the canon reset as an opportunity to dump the chaff and focus on quality. But the early Marvel revival and the Aftermath series proved otherwise.

Um, no, they’re both pretty good.

Truly exceptional work:

The TIE wibbles and wobbles in the air, careening drunkenly across the Myrran rooftops-it zigzags herkily-jerkily out of sight. - Excerpt from Aftermath

The ki-a-ki bushes tremble in the warm wind, dark thorny scrubs whose gentle tremors call to mind an animal trying very hard not to be seen. The thirstgrass conspires with the breeze: whispers and shushes and hissed hushes. - Excerpt from Aftermath: Life Debt

“Pretty good” not exceptionally perfect. Although I don’t see what’s so bad about that Life Debt excerpt.
