I am kind of curious if they’ll end the Poe comic soon. He can only be looking for Lor San Tekka for so long. It’d be nice if they jumped ahead to after TLJ, but I don’t know if they’d allow that sort of thing.
I won’t get into spoilers here obviously but it is interesting that no members of Black Squadron make an appearance in TLJ besides Poe.
Well, apparently they’re at that point, with the new issues taking place more or less immediately after TLJ, but just as a framing story for a retelling of TFA, and for what Black Squadron was up to during TLJ. Needless to say, I still find this very exciting.
What will be really interesting is what happens after those stories wrap up. Where do they go? Does the series end? Is it put on hold? Do they do flashbacks to before Poe was in the Resistance? Or do they do the obvious (yet unlikely) thing of continuing after TLJ and up to IX? The last would be the coolest, of course, but who knows what plans LFL has for IX and whether they’re willing to let up any info about the time in between yet (probably not, considering).
