If you have a music only track doesn’t that mean you can do an inversion method to eliminate all music in the channels? I thought I heard something about that a while back.
You could, if the music is mixed the same way. The music in the complete mix probably plays at different levels depending on other sounds in the scene while the music only track might be more even and up front. That could be a problem as the levels need to be the same. Either way the music only track should come in handy for fanediting purposes.
