What I’m saying is the argument for wanting more non-atmospheric music in the game is not invalid. Yes, it’s just different but I miss it. I find myself hanging around Hyrule Castle and Rito Village a lot because I enjoy listening to the music so much.

You make a huge assumption by saying that people would get bored with overworld themes. If the problem is that almost the whole game is on the overworld, there could then be different themes for different regions. (Which is also basically the case in other games.) It doesn’t have to be just one Hyrule Field track for the whole map.

And besides that, the overworld in other Zelda games is not just the in-between place from a to b. Maybe just Hyrule/Termina Field is in Ocarina of Time or Majora’s Mask, but in most games there’s more to the overworld than a to b.
