So, as one point in my “fix list” I have “fix Yoda’s face”. I think most of us agree that it was great to see the little puppet, but I’ve seen many say that there was something off about his look, which I agree with. I think it’s mostly due to the mouth which looks a bit different. So for my edit I’ll try to overlay and animate the correct Yoda mouth. Here’s a simple test image (original left, fixed right):
When you end up finishing these scenes, do you plan on releasing them for others to use (crosses fingers)
I’m planning on giving this a whirl myself, mainly just as after effects practice, as I don’t get to use AE enough in my day job, but at some point I’m going to attempt a test with both traditional After Effects methods and with that FakeApp software, testing on the brief clip in the Home Video Release trailer. Maybe you could use the same clip for a quick test yourself? Could be interesting to compare.
