I dig the cruiser. I think it has the Star Wars '77 look.
I think it looks like an ok first version of a concept drawing that inspiration was then obviously drawn from in creating the wedge like Star Destroyers as we know them. As a final design to be actually used in a movie - no way, it’s pretty damn ugly.

Saw the preview up on the big screen before Black Panther and they also had the poster on the wall outside my auditorium so I got nice detailed looks at each…
I am TOTALLY onboard with this movie. Can’t wait!

I wonder if the long awaited return of a certain meat eating green rabbit in the comics is tied to the Han Solo issues? Nice to see Zuckuss and 4-LOM get a little love. I can’t recall if the original Marvel run ever did anything with them.

I feel as if I’ve seen that style of graphic design used elsewhere before. The side by side comparison is amusing though. Chewie’s got soul!
Cribbing poster designs is actually nothing new. Sometimes studios even get the same artist to do the deed. The Hildebrandt’s said in an old Starlog interview they were basically asked by MGM to copy from their famous Star Wars poster.

‘Solo’ BTS Video Shown During Today’s Disney Shareholders Meeting:-
'Disney conducted their 2018 Annual Shareholders Meeting today beginning at 11:00am ET and during the event attendees were treated to a special behind-the-scenes video from director Ron Howard’s Solo: A Star Wars Story. After the video segment finished playing, Disney CEO Bob Iger stated that we will be seeing Han Solo as an 18-year old in the film, presumably towards the start of the movie.
He also touched on the subject of the new Galaxy’s Edge theme park attractions that are currently under construction in Florida and California. While he didn’t reveal anything new about the parks, Iger did re-confirm to the audience that both parks are on schedule to open sometime in 2019.
Here’s hoping the Solo BTS reel is released in the very near future via the official Star Wars YouTube Channel for the rest of us to enjoy.’

I’m excited because Solo seems to be focusing on the underclass and criminals of the GFFA, something that is always interesting. Also we get to finally see Corellia!
It seems like people are really embracing the new characters. In fact, the big question people ask me now about Star Wars is, “Are Finn and Poe gay lovers?” And really how the f*ck would I know? My second husband left me for a man, so my gaydar isn’t exactly what you’d call Death Star level quality. ----Carrie Fisher
