The X-Wing/TIE Fighter series for PC were the best Star Wars games ever.
They could easily be remade and outdone now. Why nobody’s doin’ it is beyond me.Because flight sims aren’t “in” right now.
I’d think a revamped X-Wing vs TIE Fighter could change that. And with the success of R1, I’d think a game where you decide to join the Rebels or Empire and start a “career” would be popular.
I’ll admit that I’m in no way in touch with the current gaming market though.
Sidenote, X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter VR would be the only thing I can think of to get me to throw money into VR. That would be amazing.
