JFTR, the texts of the Bible were written long before the Dark Ages (scholars dislike the term, BTW).
That does not make them irrelevant.
I wasn’t implying that it did.
On the other hand, since I don’t consider Biblical inerrancy a tenable position, I don’t believe every book, chapter, and verse of the Bible (Hebrew/Catholic/Protestant/Orthodox/etc.) to be of divinely inspired equal merit, either.
