We attend a church that preaches anything outside of heterosexual monogamy is “in contempt against the will of God,” and they’re both in agreement.
I’ve never understood that. What does god have against same-sex couples?
Nothing.
At least, I assume that if God exists, s/he (or it, probably) has nothing against same-sex couples. However, the people who claim to know what God wants, based on a book written by humans in the dark ages, claim that God has something against same-sex couples. And they use it as an excuse to discriminate against people that commit the high crime of being different than them.
