My ideal box set. Would this be possible?

My dream Star Wars Blu Ray set would be: one disc has the SSE versions of each film, disc two has the best quality version of the DEED, the third would have the 1997 LSD(lightly specialised edition) in 720p, the fourth-eighth discs would have endless hours of bonus content, the ninth-twelfth discs would have the 2004,2006, and 2011 versions of each film, with there being a thirteenth disc that would have an official 4K ultra HD restoration and the fourteenth and final disc having a recorded apology from George Lucas to the fans where he admits that trying to suppress the films was mean.

What’s the difference between the 2004 and 2006 versions? Or do you mean the 2006 bonus discs with the theatrical cuts? If so, you already included Despecialized, so why bother?

Anyways, you always want to put three movies on a single disc, that seems a bit much to me. You might get away with putting the 3 DVD versions on a single bluray, but 6 hours of 4K video on disc thirteen seems totally unrealistic.

Ceci n’est pas une signature.

Realistically, we’d get a set with the theatrical versions and the final versions of the Special Editions.

I think that this ideal set is doable but would probably need some reworking.

Would it better to split the boxset into two parts? One part with the films themselves - and the other part with bonus material (which will could likely change and evolve over time as new releases and anniversaries come and go)…

Amaray do a 24 disc case 😃

(and I’d back it all up to a large external portable hard drive too 😉)

An intriguing concept regardless mate - good luck with it, I hope you (and we all) achieve this dream 😃

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

I would just do something similar to the Blade Runner 30th Anniversary Set, but one for each saga movie. Each version of the films restored in HD 1080p with 5.1 audio

Original Structure:
Disc 1: Theatrical Cut (1977 / 1980 / 1983)
Disc 2: Special Edition (1997 & 2004)
Disc 3: Blu Ray (2011)
Disc 4: Bonus

Prequel Structure:
Disc 1: Theatrical Version (1999 / 2002 / 2005)
Disc 2: DVD Version
Disc 3: Blu Ray (2011)
Disc 4: Bonus

The Skywalker Saga:
I · II · III · IV · V · VI · VII · VIII · IX
This is the way.

My ideal version is a box set with all the versions of the Star Wars flims.
