I would delete the scene of Hux informing Snoke he found the location of the rebel base because it never affects the plot in this edit.
That’s in so we know the base is the weapon’s next target, which gives the Resistance a little more reason to keep fighting rather than just retreat and lick their wounds. In V1 it was mostly an unspoken sense of revenge for the destruction of Hosnian Prime, which didn’t work quite so we’ll.
Not that it necessarily matters for this edit, but the First Order having located the Resistance base ties in to TLJ, where the FO are attacking the base. Unless I’m missing something (I haven’t actually watched v2 of this edit yet!).
