There is nothing wrong with a fan being critical of whatever it is there are passionate about. Being a critical fan base is why this site and its various projects exist, and that is a good thing. However, it is this same passion that leads people to extremes in one direction or the other and that can be frustrating. We have all had conversations with people who swear by the maker that the Prequels are the best movies ever made or with people who hate everything Star Wars and nit pick just to be obnoxious…and my personal philosophy is to be at peace with all men, even the dumbasses, so instead of hammering my own opinion home, I just listen/read their point of view and keep on living. Life is too short and I got sh2t to do.

Jedit: and I am not speaking about anyone in particular, just trying to say that we all have people in our lives who are hard to deal with and instead of devoting to much energy to those interactions, I simply try to move on, in a respectful way. Personally, I really appreciate the discourse as a fan base. Do we take it too far sometimes? Sure, but as I said, it’s because we are passionate, which is a good thing.
