This looks very nice. Would love to check it out.

Is the yellow tint different from the theatrical exhibition though? I only saw it once (70mm IMAX no less) and don’t honestly remember, but it does feel VERY golden in those images and your “after” certainly looks more natural (I just wonder if its more accurate)

I saw it in 70mm and while the yellow tint definitely isn’t right, the regrade looks just a little TOO cool.

Great regrade.

Must say it’s definitely closer to the print. See this negative clip from “the making of Dunkirk”
(marked 30min.48sec). https://youtu.be/s_CeUOsnK0Q?t=1848 Its obviously shoot at 5600kelvin and not color corrected but the colors are a bit warmer.

Thank you for the feedback guys, appreciated! Looks like there’s enough interest in this Dunkirk regrade for a 9GB release so I had another look at the blu-ray.

I think you are right ToasterBoy, all the blanket yellow tint has been removed but it leaves the image slightly too cool. It very often does help to take a break from a release for a few days and look at it again afterwards with fresh eyes. I’ve reintroduced a touch of the blanket yellow tint to take away that cold edge. I’ll update the screencap comparisons soon.
