In what way I should watch a Star Wars Marathon?

I’m probably in the minority but the cgi in the prequels “mostly” doesn’t bother me.

CGI doesn’t bother at all in anything. I can’t think of any CGI effect SW or otherwise that looked glaringly fake, which is why I can’t stand it when people complain that a movie has too much CGI. How do you even notice? Sure, I can sometimes deduce what’s CGI based on the practically of filming it, but even then, it still looks real. In fact, anytime there’s no visible faces, I think EA Battlefront looks like live-action (granted the way the characters move still looks unnatural and gamey, but that’s besides the point).

Am I the only one who would rather watch R1 after the OT instead of before ANH?

If you’ve seen them all before, I don’t see anything wrong with having RO before ANH. You could even cut to ANH crawl instead of RO’s credits and have the two flow seemlessly together.
