Althor, I’ll put some frames with the IR damage matte up on the share tonight.
As for Syncing, I’d sync it to the DTS theatrical discs I’d guess.
I don’t know about cropping framing vs 2004, I haven’t watched the SEs except when I saw them in the cinema, and now the scans. I have the DVDs and the Blu-ray box set, but have not watched them.
