An official restoration isn’t happening any time soon, as those early DCAU cartoons were edited on video. It’d take a lot of effort to get it done. Maybe they will sometime, but I don’t think the demand is there.
I wouldn’t mind an upscale project, but the DVDs suit me just fine for now.
