Quite purdy indeed.

No fancy 3D shooter can ever replace the Mario brothers...! Ok maybe Half-Life 2 can.

i still think one of the greatest games ever was the original Legend of Zelda for the NES...
that gold cartridge gave me hours of fun...

No idea. But I do remember a certain Zelda title for the Gameboy (the original Gameboy, mind you, not the color or advance versions) that gave me a bit of fun. I didn't really focus too much on the storyline itself (I never beat it, you see), but I got hours of laughs going into the stores stealing weaponry from the sales clerk. Sure, he zapped me everytime I returned to the store, and I was called 'Thief' for the rest of the game, but it was worth it.

Maybe you're right. There's nothing like breaking brick walls with your head, collecting coins and magical mushrooms, and enjoying the psychedelic adventures of an italian/american man called Mario.

Haha! It's the greatest story ever told, isn't it, Ric? I wonder what makes those mushrooms magical...

That would be Link's Awakening. (Zelda 4)

And BS Zelda was the original Zelda except it starred a boy with a baseball bat instead of Link. I it came over the Satelvision, which was one of Nintendo's earliest poor business descisions.
