Well yes, Sidious could disarm Vader. However, Vader is able to keep up an endless burst of telekinesis
So can Sidious and his telekinetic powers surpass Vader’s.
and can shrug off most lightsaber blows.
Fair enough but Sidious’ speed and mastery of all seven Lightsaber Forms compensates for this. There are so many blows Vader can take before Palpy lands a death blow.
That and Vader actually has some defence against Sith Lightning built into his suit and can use his lightsaber to block force lightning.
