“Now the shuttle Tydirium is going to be changed. One thing that has always bugged me is that the same model ship that is used for dignitaries, is also being used to transport cargo and troops. This ship needs to be a different model. More in line with a cargo shuttle, similar to what was seen in Rogue One and the troop transport in the SE ANH.”

Adywan mentioned that the Shuttle will be changed potentially to the Rogue One design. I think adding the Rogue One Shield Gate also might be a little too on the nose.

In all honesty, I hope it won’t be the Zeta-class cargo shuttle. The heroes in RO already used that to infiltrate Skarif, so let’s have the audience see something else that hasn’t been seen much of already, which I really hope Ady decides on the Sentinel-class. The interior of the Sentinel’s cockpit is similar to the Lambda’s anyway (unlike the Zeta), so he wouldn’t have to change anything there. I am, however, very much in favor of seeing a string of thousands of various cargo/construction crafts moving between the Death Star and the moon, which can include the Zeta-class; for there it makes sense and I hope we see it.

I agree, though, regarding the shield gate: we shouldn’t have that again in ROTJ. I believe the shield tech in ROTJ can be further advanced than the one seen in RO, which is also why it’s invisible (which does perfectly set up the trap for the Rebels).
