…but seriously, my headcanon refuses to include Other M as an actual Metroid game that exists. Nor did I have any hope for the future of the franchise after Sakamoto accused the gaming community of not liking it simply because it starred a female character.
Now, whether Sakamoto actually said that or not (at the time, I thought so, but some people think the original article about it was satire)–Other M’s flaws were still all Sakamoto’s fault, in a George-Lucas sort of way.
