The updated RIC of S1 on capedwonder is great. I’ve also seen the S2 RIC referred to in the previous post, again on capewonder. Although as it says there, it’s not been restored since 2005. Not being critical but when I saw it, the quality seemed VHS standard. I hope Booshman will soon be able to release his restored version of S2 RIC. It’s such a loved film for so many and there are scenes in that extended version that you don’t see in either the theatrical or Donner versions.

The VHS picture quality doesn’t detract from the viewing experience one bit for me, it’s easy to spot the PAL and NTSC stuff but that’s OK. considering the wealth of unseen footage. I love it!

Plenty of neat little scenes and extensions that I wish made the final cut. Ursa’s line - “Men to kill!” - is a favourite. Also some bizarre comedy relief from a Japanese family and a tourist with a camera, I seem to remember.

I saw the expanded version of SII in 1984 - over two nights (?) in Australia, and always missed the scene with the boy and the police siren - nasty!
