I agree with everyone, Jedi Rocks is terrible and it needs to go, but lets face it, Lapti Nek was pretty bad and ridiculous as well. Restoring Lapti Nek as it is would be no improvement at all. I am not certain what could be done about it, but I am sure it could be improved upon.

Also, with all do respect to Sebastian Shaw, I think it would be better if he wasn’t restored to the ending of the movie as a force ghost and he was replaced with David Prowse. (because, you know, he deserves to be in the movie in a more clear way)

They do seem to have a slight resemblance. (a really slight resemblance, more than Sebastian Shaw anyway.) And it would be better if masked of Darth Vader had a voice closer to James Earl Jones’s voice. (I don’t know, maybe someone could make an impersonation of him, same could be said for young Anakin Skywalker from the prequels, a James Earl Jones impersonation would help with that too.) But, as we see Darth Vader without his mask on near the end of the movie and it is obviously the face of Sebastian Shaw, I am not certain if it would be possible to make it work.

By the way, Luke’s deleted lightsaber construction scene was awesome. I would love it if it was restored somehow.

Lastly, I completely agree with everyone who stated Ewoks should be reduced/gotten rid off. They are absolutely ridiculous and only exist to appeal kids and to sell toys. And the way they defeat Storm Troopers with their primitive weapons is ridiculously funny at best. (Not to mention even though “funny” has a place in the Star Wars movies, too much of it just distracts from the experience in a bad way.) I would suggest reducing their impact from the movie. I like the suggestion of adding more rebels. Perhaps some of the deleted scenes could be restored to accomplish that.
