Iām probably just gonna cut that out. After Yoda says āNow, matters are worseā, we go right into the next shot. I never liked the idea of another, so, I guess Iām killing two birds with one stone.

Didnāt think of that. Thatās a great idea! No guarantees, though. Iād have to explain why it gave enough time to evacuate (maybe it shows up late, maybe it takes too long to charge, idk. But I donāt know if I can do that or not. Iām hoping so (because thatās a wonderful idea) but, unfortunately, no guarantees.
Without a lot of very precise (and annoying) rotoscoping of the final battle, a lot of the best shots in ROTJ will be lost. Will you edit around these shots or will they appear in the movie?
Thatās my biggest concern. I want to rotoscope the final battle, but that might be a really daunting challenge. Iām not sure yet.
How much time has progressed between Chapter 1 and 2?
I donāt know and donāt plan to come up with an answer. Definitely a lot less than the 3 years between the theatrical movies.
Does the probe find the hidden rebel base or is it the Falconās tracking device?
Both. The Falconās tracking device brings the Empire to Hoth, but they send in the probe droid first to confirm their findings. Itās possible they could have found the tracking device, dumped the ship on some other planet, and used another ship to get to the real rebel base, and the Empire doesnāt want to waste resources blockading a desolate planet.

I have no plans so far on who the actor will be, other than that I donāt want to do it.
will there be delet footage in?
Unlikely. That adds runtime. If any deleted footage will be added in, though, it might be less-than-a-second clips from TFA, or Jerjerrodās conflict.
