This has probably been asked before, but why was Ponda Baba’s arm replaced with Evazan’s?

Indeed it has AK, and it’s because Obi-Wan actually cuts Evazan’s arm off due to him pulling out a blaster in the original footage.

(having said that, since the footage shows Obi-Wan swiping his lightsaber TWICE during that scene, I guess Ponda Baba’s arm also ended up on the cantina floor somewhere)

I think that because we don’t actually see the gun fired although there is footage for it… Basically Obi-wan deflects the doctors Laser at Walrus Man then cut’s off the doctors hand. Thus Killing Walrus and seriously maiming the Doctor who does not like anyone.

The Laser being deflected is missing even though we hear the gun go off… That is what the first swipe is for. They just forgot to rotoscope the Laser in and bouncing off. This is also why Luke trains to deflect blasters.

Any good?

I like the ARSE anagram. It’s an ARSE to do it all over again?

They probably swapped Doctors hand for the walrus due to censorship. This is also I think the only missing element in the theatrical or special edition I can think of. Apart from Obi-wans lightsaber and the flames on the Cloak which Ady already did.
