This problem is where madness lies. You could very reasonably argue that all wealth in America is ill-gotten wealth. So what? What are we going to do about it? Redistribute the wealth?
We know that what we did in the past was wrong. Any solution to fix the past wouldn’t affect the lives of those in the past. We shouldn’t fixate on it.
