By the way great Tumblr site, somehow I had missed you were doing this and publishing the results. After seeing that I’m fully convinced that my previous assumption was right, and what Warner has done was to utilize the negatives and mucked up the intircate differences by trying to standardize openings/closings and frame gaps to cut back on workflow. This is a common practice and can even be seen on the Batman '66 restoration where the opening and closing titles were simply done once and a repeated for every episode. (There’s a noticeable frame wobble) But at least there they got it right and have the appropriate different titles for the season three episodes.

Also, the Bosko release was to have been derived from the best available 35 mm print sources whereas most of the others are all derived from show prints, Worn prints or 16mm reductions. That’s why the Warner negative sourced disc and the Bosko 35mm sourced disc are relatively similar and why I’ve always felt the Bosko is the best overall reference despite being from aged materials.

I kind of really want to obtain the original Bosko release to see if there are any differences, though I really doubt it. It was done for VHS, and I’m pretty sure the DVD is a straight transfer of that but of far better quality much like the image DVD is a direct port of the laser disc.
