^ Agreed! Yoda was just another boring asshole in the PT. And even if he did act like Yoda, I still think it’s a mistake to actually meet him until ESB.
Also, why were the Jedi all on a planet covered in technology? I’d always imagined that they gathered somewhere peaceful, surrounded by nature. In ESB, Yoda says something about the force flowing from living things. Seems like that’s why he was in the swamp. But on the city planet, there’s no nature or quiet peace.
(I also hate the building designs. Inside and out. Bluh.)
That’s actually answerable: because the Jedi had become too entrenched in the power structures of the Republic and lost their way, philosophically speaking.
