Jyn still saves the girl. Chirrut’s trooper smack down is greatly abbreviated to remove the Kung Fu-ish antics/cheese. He’s more of a character rather than a cultural figure in this edit.

I may attempt something later on, but honestly I just can’t bring myself to watch episodes II & III. I’ll most likely leave any prequel stuff for my TV edit ideas. That way I can chop them up to 30-45 min episodes. I’d want to remove as much of Anakin as possible. The Anakin we got just diminishes Darth Vader. I’d rather keep the mystery of Darth Vader than show the disaster that was Anakin. I could even show Obi-Wan fighting Darth Vader with a red rotoscoped blade on Mustafar. He’d never call him Anakin, just refer to him as the Sith. We’d not see Padme in the edits in her wife/mother capacity either, just as a queen and senator.
