Oops, sorry for the confusion. I’ve removed the episode # for the crawl in the final version. I’d debated it for a while, but some I’d the crew here gave me the final push to drop it out. These are drafts of a project so the final versions are a little different.

The pan down to the rings was originally what I wanted to do, but the scene moves laterally so it would cause an issue with the pan down movement.

The Cassian edit is more of a personal one. I agree that it is an important shot, no pun intended, but it just always left me feeling unsettled. I know it’s supposed to do that, for some of the reasons you mention.

The nice thing about this edit is that it’s much easier to make different versions when compared to my HttF edit. If one particular edit isn’t to the liking of many, I can easily produce an alternative.
