The origin story for Wonder Woman the film and the golden age comic are very similar, so IMHO, good storytelling took precedence over any percieved propaganda, regardless of how it was spun or who tried the spinning. Similar outcries were heard when people complained that Luke Cage was “too ethnic”…but that is who Cage is and that is the world he lives in. Just like WW and her hot Amazonian sisters in this case, and sweet Christms was this film a good one.
