Magic crystals are fantasy which is good, but if they’re in Star Wars it becomes sci-fi which is bad, but this is about wizards which are good, but magic crystals make magic laser beams and swords work so that’s bad, even though they don’t obey the laws of physics which is fantasy, so this is good? Although it’s just an extension of mystical amulets? And in the end this is kind of irrelevant to anything in the narrative anyway? It’s almost like this is just some kind of minor detail that allows for another series of banal complaints over things that don’t really matter or determine movie quality on the whole.
