The Carrie stuff is non-news. We’ve known she finished all of her shooting for VIII before she passed.
Now that bit about the Han Solo movie…very interesting.
There were concerns that VIII could be modified to deal with her absence in IX. Though we’ve known that they won’t CGI her for some time now, it was not clear if the plot would be modified, or if scenes from VIII could get moved to IX. It’s not non-news.
