Graphics don’t phase me; if anything I’ve been playing Zelda using the handheld mode more than playing it on a big screen. I’m too enamored with the game to care really.
Yup, I played again for a few hours last night in handheld mode and it’s definitely my preferred way of playing. I put in my earbuds and get totally lost in it.
I finally cleared the plateau and got the paraglider. Totally transforms the game. I was enjoying running around and exploring, but so much more opens up when you can fly from one high point to another.
One of my neighbours loaned me his son’s PS3. More than half the games not working went down to 2. So it’s definitely been the consoles at fault. So Thursday I have to take it back again.
Glad you figured it out. Used consoles are always a crapshoot, but the PS3 can be particularly problematic (complex hardware that was probably fairly well beaten-on by the previous owner). Is an extended warranty available on used units?
