Hello¡ I get ROTJ semidespecialized in a 22GB mkv. Which one is this? Looks very good, but i noticed some mattes distortion in space ships. Is that normal? Also picture has good quality but some grain. Any knows why? Im not used to this versions so maybe all is fine.
I don’t recall if KK added any grain to the OT, but I suspect not. When the color is corrected from the extremely dark blu-rays, you can really see the grain. Unfortunately (at least for ANH, but probably the others) it is apparently not real film grain, but added in the official restoration master. Harmy said they posted a frame from the original master online, and the grain was present in the black bars!
