Why do some people (Lucas included) think Mos Isley should be a big, busy, sprawling city? The OOT depicts it as a run down truck stop. Much like those you see on the highway in the middle of nowhere. Not too busy, but necessary. I like that much more.

I have no idea. Most big cities aren’t wretched hives of scum and villainy either. Usually big cities have specific parts that are bad, and others that are good. It’s really only run-down places that are entirely wretched.

Someone please tell Trump!

Vader conceivably could have kept Kenobi’s saber on his person, therefore it survived DS 1 blowing up. After that, who knows?

Thanks, Junior Jedi Knights, for your crap stories. <_<

You’re mean to the young’uns.

They deserve it. Those books were almost as bad as the 2D Clone Wars series.

Keep Circulating the Tapes.

Well the Kenobi lightsaber prop was re-tooled for Luke’s lightsaber, so now I’m imagining a Rogue One type story between Empire and Jedi where Luke steals Ben’s lightsaber from Vader and improves it, since he lacks the skill to make one himself.

You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

Luke built a new green saber. (It was even a cut scene from the movie.) Vader even referred to it as a sign Luke’s skills were complete.

“Disappeared…it has.”

Ugh, stupid prequels.

Wait, are you saying it isn’t laying on the robe or what happens to it after the Falcon escapes?

The Jedi are all but extinct.......

I’m not saying what happened to it, I’m asking what happened to it.

It is laying on the robe as Vader stomps on it.

After that point, following the Falcon’s escape, unknown.

Actually, no one knows what goes on behind those closed blast doors. Or why Vader initially walks the other way, like he is asking the stormtroopers to join him into battle against a farmboy, a prince, smuggler, and a wookie.

The Jedi are all but extinct.......

They must be downright amazing then.

Bad means not good. Like the 2D Clone Wars series.

Um, yeah, no, that’s not correct.

Well, obviously the part about bad being not good is correct.

Not enough people read the EU.

I forgot to mention that my wife really enjoyed that too.

I forget that sometimes I see Star Wars things that don’t originate from this site:

So my comment was based on the real-life journey of the prop 😃

I’d be much more excited for a Lando spin-off than I am for the Han one.
Lando seems to have a much more interesting backstory. Going from a rogue like Han to a successful business man and a respected leader before we ever meet him.
Han, on the other hand, seems to make his biggest life changes during the OT. Sure, they can cook up any stories they want and any story can be good, but it just seems that there’s a more interesting story there with Lando.

Me too. I really dislike the idea of young Han movie. Even if they somehow manage it to work and not be like any other “young this” prequels, it still isn’t something that we would ever need. Lando’s story seems much more interesting and it would be fun to have some kind of womanazing stories in SW universe in some casino-type locations etc. And depending how young he would be, it could end where he would get Cloud City and be like “WTF did I just do…”.

And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.

Is it really much different from binding cattle or deer though? It could realistically be their first humans

That’s a great idea. We don’t know much about Lando outside of the OT. If done correctly, could be an interesting, fun movie.
