I thought of doing this order but It wouldn’t work for me because at the end of Rogue One you see the scene of Vader that we all know about. By seeing this and then jumping into his redemption movie it’s a little jarring. I find that one of the strengths of machete order originally is lost if you add rogue one after revenge of the sith. Why, might you ask? I shall explain…
Vader is an absolute badass in ESB but it is a little odd to see him act so much more subordiante and emotional in ROTJ. Machete Order orignally dimished the effect of this because before ROTJ you get to see his fall and you feel the tradegy and sadness so then once ROTJ comes around, you kind of are more accustomend to seeing Vader being more emotional and on the light side after seeing such a tragic fall of a good guy. Of course this only works with fanedited prequels 😉
So my new solution would be the following order:
Rogue One, SW, ESB, AOTC (fanedited), ROTS (fanedited), ROTJ
