U.S. President-elect Donald Trump plans to nominate professional wrestling magnate and former Senate candidate Linda McMahon as his choice to head the Small Business Administration, transition officials told Reuters on Wednesday.

The announcement was expected later on Wednesday.

McMahon, 68, is a co-founder and former CEO of the professional wrestling franchise WWE, which is based in Stamford, Connecticut. She ran unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat in Connecticut in 2010. She was an early supporter of Trump’s presidential campaign.

So I assume the Mark Burnett appointment isn’t far behind?

I guess anyone can be nominated now(assuming they are white, straight, and non-Muslim).

Might as well scratch the others off the list too. Having spent decades in deep virulent racistville (neighbors were nice quiet neo-Nazis), things don’t work out like you’d think from the outside. It doesn’t surprise me at all that some of the most racist Trump voters were once Obama voters (yeah, and Clinton didn’t fail to win a good number of racist voters herself, there’s plenty enough to go around). It’s not a Trump phenomenon, it’s an American phenomenon–Trump just made the first completely uncoded targeted appeal to that segment of America since George Wallace. Trump can find a representative of any minority community who’d be willing to serve on his administration. His standards are loose enough he can go clear to the bottom of the barrel for his picks, and he may have to. In fact, he seems to prefer to.

The nastiest and most viralantly racist people I know are the ones who run around shrieking about those evil whites.
