4951 Jim O'Connor Waterford, Ireland April 5, 2012 George, Mr. Lucas..if you have the power..to give us back the wonderful magic you created in 1977..I sat, spellbound, enthralled, mesmerised, in awe, caught in your fantastic spell. I can still see that opening scene..WOW..My two daughters aged 7 and 3 are following in my footsteps right now, they have the WOW too! We know, as you do, that they, the originals, are technically inferior and that you have tried to improve on the cinematic experience that perhaps could have been then, if you had the computer technology and tools that are available today..and have tried improve on your mastery of creativity..but please please..you will allow history to be shown, as it was then..simple, basic, and wonderfully unique in its original form. These original theatrical releases have left a legacy, spawned a subculture, and given so much joy to countless adults and future adults, the likes that have yet to be seen again in my lifetime. Signed Lucas Fan

4955 Jonathan Skocik PA, USA April 8, 2012 I was born the year Star Wars came out. It's been with me my whole life. What I grew up with and have cherished all these years are the original theatrical versions. I don't want that taken away from me and replaced with something different, something that fundamentally changes those films and destroys forever my ability to recapture the wide-eyed wonder I felt watching those films as a child. The addition of CGI is intrusive and destroys the atmosphere of late 70s, early 80s cinema. You owe it to us, George. They're our movies too.
4956 Richard Goldman MA, USA April 8, 2012 Saw these as a teenager & young man. A cultural phenomenon that revitalized the genre. Very unfortunate that the original theatrical releases aren't available. And, personally,I dislike what was done to the films in these re-released versions.
4957 Jim Ginther OH, USA April 10, 2012 I'll definitely pay to get the originals on Blu-Ray. :)
4958 BRAD BARCKLAY CALIFORNIA, USA April 10, 2012 Please give us our original movies back! The Special Editions are, indeed, special. But, the original theatrical editions are those that I grew up loving. I really wish to experience them again in the highest possible quality. Thank you , Mr. Lucas!

He will only put on the original theatrical versions. If this were on blu ray, so may fans would be ecstatic and sales would probably be better than the special editions.

4986 Jorge Goyena Santa Fe, Argentina April 22, 2012
4987 Ras Sostre Rhode island, USA April 22, 2012 HAN Shoots first and I feel bad for the original Boba fett voice it's like being the voice of a cool character and the some time later you get replaced by some looser. His only part of something great is scrapped to fit Lucas' needs if you get my drift
4988 Ian Smith Outside USA, England April 23, 2012 When you release something to the public, it becomes shared. A New Hope won Academy Awards in it's original form. We fell in love with Star Wars in its original form. We want Star Wars in its original form.

4993 Todd Sellers WA, USA April 25, 2012 I understand Georges Point of view that he felt the movies were unfinished..

but he needs to understand. WE LIKE THEM THAT WAY! WE are the ones that made him rich and famous.

without OUR fan obsession of his films he'd be just as broke as us fanboys and probably living with family.
