Anyone else think Easterhay's Rick McCallum under that hood?

Every forum has a village idiot. I'm glad that he has revealed himself to me so early in my OT.com life. Now I know who to look for when I read posts that causes facepalms.

What prequel movies?
:p
Also to add to what was said, I only started thinking about the first movie as "Star Wars" when i started lurking on these forums. It does feel odd when I read people referring it as "A New Hope"
Yeah, given that that's what it's been called since 1980 I can imagine it would feel odd. Again, if you're really, really compromised in the mental department.
What is your deal? Not enough hugs as a kid?
You should go watch "Star Wars" to cool down, then if you have time watch the sequels ESB and RotJ.

I've always referred to Star Wars as "The First Star Wars", and for the rest "Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi"
Also, add me to the camp where the opinion is Star Wars and ESB were great, RotJ was 'so-so'. I remember trying really hard to like the ewoks because how I loved the first 2 movies so much. Sometimes I still try to trick myself into liking them even today.

I'm not too phased by the CGI and production. But imo the major factors that brings down the Prequel is Martin Freeman's horrible acting and the script. Those two things combined destroys any magic of "The Hobbit" storyline that I've held on to ever since reading the book as a kid.
I could only bear to finish the first part of the series, and never bothers to watch the other. It was so painful.
Many friends tell me I'm comparing this movie to the first 3 movies of the books. But I don't think that is the case; when stepping back and considering it as a movie that should stand on its own, The Hobbit is a terrible let down.
